* Pedro Cano with workers from LABOR VIVA.
Art in your Agenda 2016.
For the fifth consecutive year, the extraordinary painter Pedro Cano collaborates with the social and labor integration of people with disabilities through Labor Viva giving the reproduction of their masterful watercolors for which they are recognized in and outside our country.
In addition to a painter, Pedro Cano performs an enormous divulgative work through his Foundation, giving courses to professional artists but also teaching to love the drawing to the children of the numerous schools that visit his museum in Blanca (Murcia).
* Pedro Cano shows his personal agendas which serve as support for delicate works to LABOR VIVA workers.
In addition to collaborating with our special employment center through the LABOR VIVA solidarity stationery, DOCUVIVA, our document management section consisting of people with intellectual disability and / or mental illness, has been conducting a pilot project for digitalization and dissemination for two years. of the personal agendas of the painter Pedro Cano (with drawings and notes from 1980) along with the 40 valuable travel notebooks with watercolors from places in the Region of Murcia, Granada, Madrid, Mallorca, Rome, Naples, Venice, India, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Morocco, USA, Mexico, Peru, etc.,
So that this project can be put into practice and that these works can be enjoyed by all, they need funds to proceed with their complete digitalization. We show you a small sample of this pilot project. ENJOY, it is a privilege ...
LABOR VIVA thanks the Pedro Cano Foundation for the transfer of the reproduction rights of its artistic works for its application to our solidarity stationery collections, which help us to create and maintain jobs for people with disabilities.
