A bullet journal is a method of organization invented by Ryder Carroll that consists of organizing using a blank notebook (it can be lined, dotted, squared, etc.).

It is the ideal organization system for those who prefer to use a notebook to organize themselves on an agenda and like to have more freedom to organize themselves in detail and be able to dedicate more space to the fullest days and less to the simplest days.

It usually meets the following structure:

  • Index: like that of a book, it serves as a guide to more easily locate the content.
  • Codes: where we put the different symbols to identify the categories (a square for tasks, a triangle for events, etc.).
  • Annual planning: with the annual calendar, future log (a page to write down the plans that arise for later), annual objectives, series, movies, books, etc.
  • Monthly planning: where the month is planned on the double page.
  • Weekly planning: to plan the week.
  • Daily planning: where we write down the plans and tasks of the day in greater detail.

Basically it is using a notebook, usually dotted, to make our own agenda.

You can get more information in the book of the creator of this system called "The Bullet Journal Method", of which there is a pocket version and a larger one.
